About the Driving Doctor: Adaptive Driving & Rehab

Personalized Occupational Therapy Services

At The Driving Doctor, I take a personalized approach to occupational therapy services. I am Dr. Andrea D. Fairman-Laferrier, the founder of this center, and I have over 20 years of experience working with various clinical populations, including expertise in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Schizophrenia, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, and more. This extensive experience allows us to customize our services to meet the unique needs of each individual client.

Multistate Certified Therapist

Dr. Fairman is licensed to provide occupational therapy services in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island. This multistate certification enables us to serve a wider range of clients needing adaptive driving and rehabilitation solutions. Being a certified therapist in multiple states, I am better equipped to help our clients achieve their goals, regardless of location.

On-The-Road Training

As the only therapist providing on-the-road training, I take a hands-on approach with her clients. This helps clients gain real-world experience and allows me to evaluate and address their individual needs in a practical setting. My on-the-road training program is designed to help clients become safer, more confident drivers.
